For years people have been going "dogging" the word dogging means "the practice of watching or engaging in exhibitionist sexual activity in a public place" So i think you will get what we mean when we say its quite "rude". Most people dont really go dogging, its a thing that only a small percentage of the population engage in. That said dogging whilst not quite illegal is getting more popular, especially with the people over 40. They adverture out into the local parks and car spots and try it out for the first time.
Dogging is also a veru popular when it comes to the local newspapers. They know a quick "dogging" story in the local rag can gain quite alot of attention, especially if the articles refer to local "hotspots" and places of interest. We wont say its click bait, but each story attracts a fair bit of interest and we know that mentioned in the newspaper headlines from time to time that it can become quite a popular subject. A quick search on google shows us that most areas newspapers and even TV stations from time to time write about "dogging hotspots" and stories related to misshaps and similar things.
The daily star for example recently wrote a story "Mum makes embarrassing typo as she texts child telling them she's off 'dogging'" which was about sending messages to her child and making a typo.
Kent Online a local newspaper website wrote about Anger over dogging at beauty spot in Crabbles Bottom, Higham an article showing anger at whats left behind by local doggers in the area. People took to the site to show their discust at the leftovers from a local meetup which consisted of used condoms and similar items we wont mention.
Evem the BBC has had its fair share of dogging woes, check out this Daily Star article about carol kirkwood who had to apologies for her epic blunder whilst reading the weather and said that shes seen lots of doggers in the park this morning . Watch the video its absolutely hilarious and shows how an easy blunder can lead to someone being inundated with text and tweets from her audience.
Here is how Wiki describes dogging on its site.
Dogging is a British English slang term for engaging in sexual acts in a public or semi-public place or watching others doing so.[1] There may be more than two participants; both group sex and gang banging can be included. As observation is encouraged, voyeurism and exhibitionism are closely associated with dogging. The two sets of people involved often meet either randomly or (increasingly) arrange to meet up beforehand over the Internet.[2]
In September 2003 BBC News[3] reported on the "new" dogging craze. They cited the Internet and text messaging as common ways of organising meetings. The original definition of dogging—and which is still a closely related activity—is spying on couples having sex in a car or other public place,[4] and the term had been in use on Britain's railways for many years. It would have been well-known at least as far back as 1951.[5]
There is some evidence on the Internet that the "craze" has begun to spread to other countries, such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Barbados, Brazil, Denmark,[6] the Netherlands, Norway,[7] Poland,[8] and Sweden.[9] - reference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogging_(sexual_slang)
